CANCELLATION POLICY
We know plans can change, so we've designed a cancellation policy that's flexible for our customers and
supports our drivers. We won't charge cancellation fees, if you cancel before the times listed below. Please
note that if you change the type of vehicle that you want once the original car has been dispatched, you
will be responsible for the cancellation fee of the original vehicle in addition to the cost of the newer
vehicle type.
• In case of no-show by the guest, full amount paid there on against the booking will be forfeited.
• If the booked vehicle is cancelled within 03 days to the arrival date than the guest needs to pay 50% as
retention charges for the first day of booking.
• Booked hotel cancellation policy may differ from place to place and from hotel to hotel. So, we request
the guest to get acquainted with it prior booking.
• In case the guest are out for an excursion trip to Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake or Yumthang Valley etc and
could not return to the hotel as per the scheduled date, due to Act of God or weather conditions, the
management will not be liable. In such cases retention of the vehicle and room rent for that day will be
chargeable.
• All cancellations must be intimated in writing by E-mail and must be acknowledged by a member of Raw
Adventurer.
AMENDMENT
Amendment of booked tour can be made by paying extra services charges if added to tour program, which will vary depending on service availability & case to case basis.
REFUND
Refund against Amendment and Cancellations will be paid directly to the source through whom the tour program is booked. It would take at least 3 working days to process such Refund which will be in INR (Indian Rupees). However, there is NO REFUND for any unutilized services example – permits, optional, hotels, sightseeing, etc which will vary from case to case.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Protected Area Permit for various places in Sikkim are issued as follows: The Yumthang Valley, Gurudongmar Lake, Nathula Pass, Tsomgo (Changu) Lake &Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple falls under protected areas hence we need to apply for the permit from Police check post and Tourism& Civil Aviation Department, Sikkim. For Indian national tourist, we require 02 copies of passport size photograph and 01 photo copy of the identity card with address mention therein {pan card not accepted} of individual guest a week before their arrival through courier or you may scan and send us.
Please Note:
1. NATHULA PASSES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY which depends on road conditions, weather
conditions etc.and it is closed on every Monday & Tuesday for Indian National tourist but Tsomgo
(Changu) Lake & New Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple is open every day.
2. There is no refund, in case the permit is confirmed by Sikkim Tourism Department & due to whatsoever
reason (Land slide, Heavy rain fall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc) one is not able to visit. In case on
non-availability of the passes, the guest will travel to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir.
3. At times, the Govt. Of Sikkim, Tourism Department issue permit where in a permit there may be more
than 1 vehicle permitted to visit Nathula Pass again which is not in the hands of travel agents and the Army
personal allows the vehicle through the check post only when all the vehicles reaches to the check point. In
this scenario, the guest needs to wait at the check point until all the vehicle arrives. So we request you to
keep patience for the same.
